A fountain pen made from high-quality wood Kurogaki(Black persimmon)
Model noTWM18305
Ordinary persimmons have a pure white bark without any grain and are called “white persimmons.”
They are small and badly twisted, making them worthless as materials, but extremely rarely (said to be one in 10,000), black striped “kurogaki” persimmons are discovered and are highly valued. (It is impossible to tell if a persimmon is white or black just by looking at the appearance of the standing persimmon tree.)
It is the rarest and finest wood among domestic timbers, and is a precious and highly valued fine wood worldwide. It is a work of art created by nature that appears in only one out of 10,000 trees.
The unique and beautiful striped pattern changes to a deeper color and luster as it is used due to the oils in the black persimmon, giving it a truly dignified appearance worthy of being called a top-quality product.
